Another week of training has come and gone, and this was definitely peak week for me! I mean, I am sure I have a little bit of high mileage left to go, not this week (it is a down week for me) but probably next week before I start to taper. But, I am down to 4 weeks to go!
So let's take a look at the week, eh?
Monday: 9 miles with 4x strides. 9.56 total
Tuesday: 8 miles, easy pace. CORE
Wednesday: 50 minutes elliptical, CORE.
Thursday: 7 miles, with 5 @ HMP (7:30), strides. 7.8 total miles. CORE.
Friday: 7 miles, 9:10 pace
Saturday: 16 miles with 3x2 miles progressive. 7:50 average. 1 mile cooldown walk/jog. 17 total
Sunday: OFF (CORE).
49.36 total miles.
1 day elliptical.
4 days core.
Overall, I nailed the week in running. Wednesday was the toughest day, because I was home with a sick Roo, and I knew that I was not going to be able to get in my tempo, which was my original plan. But I pulled off a bit.
